FAQ

Ordering

Can I view a piece before placing my order?

Yes. Selected pieces may be viewed by appointment before purchase. Contact our Customer Happiness Team at hello@ikecho.com.au with the name or link of the piece you are interested in, and we will confirm its availability and arrange a suitable viewing time.

As some pieces are one-of-a-kind or held at another location, appointments must be arranged in advance.

What size should I buy?

Use our ring size guide and compare to a ring that fits comfortably or ask a local
jeweller to measure your finger. https://ikecho.com.au/pages/ring-size-guide

What if I am between sizes

If you are between sizes, we recommend confirming your exact size with a local jeweller before placing your order. Accurate sizing ensures the best fit and avoids the need for resizing after purchase.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it

Orders begin processing shortly after they are placed. If you need to change or cancel your order, contact Customer Care as soon as possible. Changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed once an order has been processed or dispatched.

Can I update my shipping address after placing an order

If your order has not yet been processed, we may be able to update your shipping address. Contact Customer Care immediately with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched, address changes are not possible.

Will I receive an order confirmation

Safety information

When should jewellery be removed

Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising, sleeping, gardening, cleaning or completing activities that may expose it to impact, moisture, perspiration or chemicals.

Jewellery should also be removed before applying perfume, hairspray, makeup, skincare products and household cleaners. Pearls and opals are particularly delicate, so put them on last when getting ready and remove them first at the end of the day.

Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or fabric-lined jewellery box to help prevent scratching, tangling and damage.

Is children’s jewellery safe

Jewellery can contain small parts and may present a choking hazard. Supervision is recommended for the Bambini Collection and jewellery is not suitable for unsupervised children.

Why Choose Ikecho?

Why choose jewellery from Ikecho?

Founded in Sydney by Erica Miller in 1999, Ikecho is an Australian jewellery brand specialising in pearls, Australian opals and lab-grown diamonds.

Having spent her life immersed in the jewellery industry, Erica brings extensive knowledge of gemstones, design and craftsmanship to every collection. As Ikecho’s designer, she personally hand-selects every pearl and opal used in the collection for its quality, beauty and individual character.

Each Ikecho piece is thoughtfully designed in Australia to celebrate the natural individuality of its gemstones and be treasured for generations.

Can an Ikecho design be customised?

Selected designs may be customised by size, metal or gemstone. Contact our team before ordering to discuss the design, availability, pricing and expected production time. Custom and made-to-order pieces may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Will I receive the exact opal or pearl piece photographed?

For one-of-a-kind jewellery, you will receive the exact piece shown in the product photographs.

For designs produced more than once, natural variations may occur and are part of each piece’s individuality. If you would like to choose your piece, please contact our Customer Happiness Team before ordering. Where available, we can provide photographs of the individual pieces for you to select from.

Are Ikecho’s pearls and opals genuine and responsibly sourced?

Yes. Ikecho uses genuine cultured pearls and solid Australian opals, carefully selected for their quality, beauty and individual character.

Erica personally hand-selects every pearl and opal used in Ikecho’s collections. Our pearls are sourced through trusted pearl farmers and suppliers, while our Australian opals come from Ikecho’s own family opal mine and long-standing relationships with Australian miners.

This hands-on approach provides greater transparency from source to finished piece while supporting responsible and fair relationships with the people who grow and mine these remarkable gems. Because pearls and opals form naturally, variations in colour, shape, pattern and surface are part of their unique beauty.
